Yesterday was one of those few days where I was happy to have had cesarean sections with the kids. Pierce was sitting on my lap talking about when he was "this big" holding his fingers apart just a little bit. I told him that when he was that big he was inside my belly.
"How did I get out?"
I told him that the Dr got him out.
"He pulled you out"
I then told him that the Dr had to make a little cut in my belly to get him out. Now I have his total attention....
"It''s okay buddy it did not hurt"
"How did he put you back together?"
"The Dr sewed mommy''s belly shut with a needle and thread"
End of discussion. Holy crap that was not fun. I cannot even IMAGINE telling a child that they were "pushed out of mommy''s vagina" I think for fun I will just let Mallory think that c-secions are the norm and wait for the day that one of her friends tells her the truth.
